Love is an emotion,
that we cannot truly decide who it goes to,
we can want to love someone,
but doesnt mean they will love you back at the same time.
What we can truly do is love ourselves and thats when love will show itself to you,
whether it be someone from your past or someone from your future.
Just know love will always be there if it is real.
